1.0 ABSTRACT
UI Tech Engineering SRL is the practice of Ionut Uceanu, an engineer based in Bucharest, working as an engineering manager while independently building and shipping WayTube. Product design, backend, native apps, app-store submission, and marketing are all handled by one person, with no team.

Every video is scored against these criteria before a child sees it, not just the channel it came from.
Age Fit Score: a per-video rating out of 100, produced from the seven criteria above, calibrated to the child's age. Parents set a threshold once and WayTube filters against it automatically from then on.

4.1 planet-painter.kids
LIVEAn interactive world map built for children aged 4 to 10. Clicking a country colors it in and shows its flag along with facts about it, generated by AI. Had some organic promotion through Reddit posts in December 2025. Still running.

RETIREDA site where you could ask AI anything and it would return the dumbest possible answer. Not currently operational.

At its core, an engine that evaluates videos, and also URLs, for age-appropriateness. Originally intended to power a browser built for children. The site is still up; the browser apps were never released. Parents were not receptive to their children using a general browser, so the underlying engine was carried forward into WayTube instead.
